Hello! I'm Scott Bell, a fifth year BS/MS student studying Mechanical Engineering Technology as well as Mechanical Manufacturing Systems Integration. I am currently the president of SME and I hope to guide this club to success!
I am a fifth year Mechanical Engineering Technology Major. I am the Vice-President of RIT SME. I joined SME because I love hands on learning and that is what you get in SME.
Hi! I'm a third year studying Mechanical Engineering Technology. I joined this club because of the size. A small club is one where everyone gets heard and is assigned something to work on. There's a lot of hands on experience in this club and seeing something come from your doing is worthwhile.
As a Third year student and member of RIT SME, I decided to become a more integral part to the club that drew me in last year by becoming the treasurer. Right from the start, SME was a good group of people who welcomed me with open hands. The best part of SME for me is the basis around which the club works. All of SME's members come together at the start of the semester in order to decide what project the club should take on in the coming months. This sense of collaboration is what makes me a proud member of SME.
